Our state of Louisiana has a fine tradition of great coffee. Much of America’s coffee arrives through southern ports. Southern roasters have perfected the art of the dark roast. Southern chefs have explored the nuanced use of coffee flavors. Great coffee innovators have developed new brewing techniques, new tools and new recipes to try. All will be meeting in Lafayette to share their coffee insights and experiences with you.
We have great coffee to sample.
The finest coffee producers from across the region will have their best coffee flavor profiles on display for you to try. You have unlimited access to sample more than a dozen great coffees.
We have great coffee classes.
There is so much to learn about coffee. It is imported from all over the globe as different climates and different soil produce different coffee beans. Come learn about the “coffee flavor wheel” concept and how great beans are blended to create unique flavor profiles.
Custom Coffee Roasting.
You can learn to roast coffee at home. Better still, your business, restaurant, B&B or hotel could use one of the great regional coffee roasters to create a proprietary blend that is all your own. This is not an expensive option- just a special opportunity to create a unique experience for your guests. Come meet with the region’s best coffee roasters to explore creating a coffee to call your own.
